Mission: The mission of the Women In the Upper Room Ministry is: To

encourage women to believe in themselves and the power of God in them by

keeping New Alpha MBC relevant in the community through community activities

and creating an environment of refuge.

Vision: The vision of the Women in the Upper Room Ministry is to create a

zealous sisterhood committed to:

 Striving to be the best version of ourselves

 Holding ourselves and other sisters accountable to God’s Will for our lives

 Teaching, preaching, and learning God’s Word through study and prayer

 Supporting our church and community through active works.  

Men’s Fellowship Mission Statement

It is the mission of the Men’s Fellowship to provide Christian Fellowship within the body of Christ for all men at New Alpha. As God supports us, we want to enter into a joyful relationship with like-minded men (*Psalms 133:1) 

The Men’s Fellowship is an extension of our Christian family nucleus, and we endeavor to provide spiritual nurturing for men as they initiate or continue their active search to establish a sincere and right relationship

 with God. 

The Men’s Fellowship is dedicated to praising and glorifying God. We firmly believe that God has called us into his service (*Romans 12:1-2) to affect positive changes in our lives.

God has made all Christian men the head of their households and has instructed them to govern their homes wisely and with love so that they may govern his church in a like-minded manner (*1st Tim 3:5)

We strive to religiously educate our brethren within the body of Christ and also support all church members as they grow to understand their spiritual gifts and learn to apply them to their daily lives for the enrichment and growth of the body of Christ through evangelism and outreach ministries in their communities.

Statement of Purpose:

1 – Meet regularly to pray, study God’s word, provide brotherly support and conduct business necessary for the edification and growth of the New Alpha Missionary Baptist Church.

2 - Provide support for the Pastor and his God given vision by assisting him/her in all endeavors to build a spirit filled congregation that allows for God’s message of the Good News of Jesus Christ to reach our communities and the world at large. 

3 – Establish Christian connections with Men in the Greater Burlington, Vermont area through outreach ministries and evangelism.

4 – Serve as mentors and examples to our young men and youth to affect positive change in their lives.

5 – Support all ministries of help and programs within New Alpha.

Through the Men’s Fellowship we can worship God with one another in an atmosphere of unconditional love, accepting all who enter New Alpha’s doors in search of a lasting relationship with God. Where there is a need, there will be a family to which we can turn.
