What We Believe
We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired, and is a perfect treasure of heavenly instruction: that it has God for its author, salvation for its end, and truth without any mixture of error for its matter; that it reveals the principles by which God will judge us, and therefore is, and shall remain to the end of this world, the true center of Christian union, and the supreme standard by which all human conduct, creeds, and opinions shall be tried.

MISSION OF CHURCH MEMBERSHIP
The New Alpha Missionary Baptist Church is dedicated to praising and Glorifying Our
Lord, through word, work, and song in the tradition of the Black Baptist Church.
Realizing that there was an absence of this sort in the Burlington community, New
Alpha seeks to provide a public forum to enlighten, recruit and minister to African
Americans within the state of Vermont, without excluding anyone who wishes to worship in the tradition of the Black Baptist Church.
The Church is an extension of our family nucleus. Through our church we can fellowship with one another in an atmosphere of unconditional love, accepting all who enter our doors in search of a genuine relationship with God. Where there is a need, there will be a family to which you can turn.
New Alpha functions to provide spiritual nurturing for all our members from the
youngest to the eldest and to create the opportunity for all members to initiate or continue their active search to establish a sincere and unique relationship with God. As God supports us, we are committed to nurturing each other through our journey of life.
Because missionary outreach is of utmost importance, New Alpha is committed to local
regional and global outreach ministries. By developing programs and activities that
enhances spiritual growth and prosperity, the church serves as a Christian shelter to uplift those in need.
NAMBC fully accepts its responsibility as a missionary church and pledges dedication to all nations.
